Alba is a town in the Italian region Piedmont, located in the province of Cuneo, at 172 meters. The Tanaro River flows through the city, dividing the territory of Langhe and Roero.
Alba is a city rich in culture, history and traditions. She is the former Alba Pompeia, so named by the consul Pompey Strabo, but certainly of pre-Roman origin, rich in archaeological remains and evidence of its glorious past.
Alba is known for its beauty, tourism, industries and food products, including truffles and wines sold today worldwide.
